Our Mission

One of our main goals is to have our members learn valuable skills that will benefit them throughout their future careers. These include: machine shop skills, CAD, programming, aircraft design, and the engineering design process.

There are many leadership opportunities that DBF provides to students ranging from leading the engineering process to procuring sponsorships. The leadership qualities that students develop in DBF can be used in and out of the classroom.

Nobody can build a plane on their own, and often planes fail due to a miscommunication. Teamwork is one of the most important parts of DBF, and we hope to produce some of the best engineers that can work well with anybody.
